The retro-inspired camera case is made of high-quality and lightweight PU leather, making it extra durable. It keeps your camera safe from dust, drops and spills. There are two separate parts – The Base is connected to the camera with a screw which is the connection to the tripod as well. The Leather Flap is the lens cover, it is connected to the base and can be easily opened with two snap fasteners.

I suppose I didn’t look too closely at the picture before I bought it. The case is 2 parts. The bottom part has to be screwed into the camera’s tripod hole, which is annoying to say the least, when trying to remove the case (to change memory card, battery). The part that actually covers the camera, snaps on in two places. I found the case to be cumbersome and would rather have a traditional case that the camera can simply slide in and out of when opened. However, my husband thinks this case is great and prefers it over the traditional case. We do both like the style of the case and the leather colour. It goes well with the camera itself, so say 4 out of 5!
