Note: Our Full Black variant features a custom black setup, the CNC-machined aluminium base plate, grip handle, and screw are finished with a specialized scratch-resistant coating in solid matte black.
The base includes an integrated tripod connection thread, letting you mount a tripod plate directly to the bottom without removing the case. Mounting to your camera body is completely tool-free for quick setup.

I bought this case primarily for the look, and it does not disappoint. The black leather against the silver X100V looks incredible and gives it that classic vintage vibe. I’ve already bumped my camera against a stone wall while hiking and the case took the hit with no marks on the body. The access to the battery door is precise, which is a huge plus.
There is no denying the quality of the materials here, the leather is thick and the inner lining is very soft. However, as someone with smaller hands, I found the grip handle to be a bit more pronounced than I expected from the photos. It’s great for security, but it changes the feel of the camera. Also, the leather was quite stiff out of the box an I had to work it for a few days before it moved easily. I should have just chosen the classic version without the grip to maintain the slim profile.
The leather and stitching are fantastic. It fits the camera like a glove and the grip handle is a game-changer for stability. My only complain is that it makes the camera slightly wider, so it no longer fits in my smallest jacket pocket. However, the trade-off for the improved grip and protection is worth it. If you usually carry your camera in a small bag or on a strap, you won’t even notice the extra size.
Absolutely love this Kupang case, the leather feels premium and it fits my X100V perfectly with zero wiggle room. The integrated grip makes a huge difference in comfort when I’m out shooting all day. Shipping to Hamburg was surprisingly fast too.
